Tuscan Wedding Inspiration at Meadow Hill Farm in the Foothills of Tennessee
Let’s face it. Not all of us can swing a destination wedding in Tuscany no matter how much our hearts desire a celebration spent sipping chianti in the gorgeous Italian countryside. But I was convinced I could mimic that warm and earthy feeling in the foothills of Middle Tennessee.
An incredible team of vendors helped shape this Tuscan inspired wedding shoot at Meadow Hill Farm in Columbia just south of Nashville. The living centerpieces by Gradient and Hue teeming with tomato plants, herbs and dainty florals were the perfect accompaniment to the simple but impactful place settings. The hand-lettered bread wrappers and shimmery copper menus were the perfect mix of rustic and refined. Hannah Farmer Creative kept the bridal look simple with tousled waves and a fresh face and the blush-hued (Wtoo calls it “moscato” - how appropriate!) two-piece gown from The Bride Room had the most beautiful lattice detailing on the bodice. Laurie with Fanciful Ink used Italian made glazed ceramic wall tiles to fashion an incredible seating chart installation and Copper Whisk Cakes used that same tile as inspiration for her hand-painted 3-tier cake adorned with greenery and tomatoes.
With touches of terra cotta and an abundance of effortless European flair, this film gallery by Cassidy Carson Photography is sure to inspire couples that are interested in bringing a piece of Italy a little closer to home.
